MacaulaySinclair – Work Experience

Development and budgeting of interior design concepts for the Liverpool Permit Room and Dishoom at Borough Market.

I completed a two-week placement at the Macaulay Sinclair offices, where I developed my SketchUp skills and gained experience working within a professional design environment. During this time, I contributed to design development discussions and supported considerations around cost and feasibility, ensuring creative ideas remained aligned with both practical constraints and brand identity.

I produced design work for the outdoor eating veranda at Dishoom Borough Market, drawing inspiration from Bombay train stations. I also designed a room divider for the Liverpool Permit Room, providing a solution to a design element that the company was aiming to resolve within budget constraints.
