About Blythe

What I’m good at

I am a disciplined, resourceful, and sparkly design student at the University of Salford. My creative practice is informed by political and social themes, and I approach design with a strong sense of curiosity, critical thinking, and versatility across different contexts and challenges.

My work demonstrates a strong combination of creativity, precision, and a considered political perspective, reflecting not only my understanding of the principles of good design but my ability to apply them consistently in practice. Whether responding to complex briefs or developing my own creative concepts, I produce work that is thoughtful, refined, and aligned with professional industry standards.

I believe production design is an underutilised form of communication, particularly when conveying complex ideas and narratives within cinema. My practice is informed by contemporary social discourse, allowing me to bring a distinctive and considered approach to production design that is both relevant and engaging.

I would describe myself as a highly motivated and adaptable individual who is eager to take on a wide range of tasks and fully engage with each project. I take time to understand clients and collaborators in order to ensure my work meets their needs and expectations to a high standard. I am also a confident communicator and enjoy working with others in a collaborative environment.

I have a genuine enthusiasm for working with people and building positive professional relationships. I bring energy, creativity, and a strong work ethic to everything I do, and I am always keen to contribute positively to a team and the wider working environment.
